Food For Thought

Nearly 1 in 5 Canadian Kids are Food Insecure

Together with our friends at SkipTheDishes, we’re going to do something about it. That’s why we are asking for YOUR help as teachers, parents, brothers, sisters, friends and family.

Let's positively impact youth across Canada together, and put a stop to food insecurity.

May 3 - May 28

Hunger isn’t just in other countries and far away places—it’s right here at home.

Did you know in 2018 4.4 MILLION CANADIANS were food insecure, and 1 in 5 Canadian children under the age of 18 lived in food insecure households. This is NOT okay.

May 28th is World Hunger Day, so Mealshare & SkipTheDishes have created a fun campaign called Food For Thought, to educate kids about youth hunger, and raise funds for children who are food insecure.
